Roger,
Just a bit of info about something I've done with the Acoustafil. A friend of my uncle races jeeps, the kind you see on Paris-Dakar. It's a V10 petrol engine pumping out something like 400 Bhp. He
used to use Rockwool or Basalt filling for the silencer but at the end of a race there would be nothing left in the can, half way through the day it would be touch and go whether it failed the sound control at marshalling.
He has put the Acoustafil in the can to the weight that Saveguard told him, and he is amazed at how quiet the exhaust is and it hasn't lost any power. He has given it a good thrashing for a day testing it
out and where he would usually be replacing the rock wool he said it looks as good as when it went in. He is taking sound level readings occasionally and will let us know how he gets on with it after a couple of races.
'Steve and everyone at Saveguard, Simon has said thanks very much and he is going to tell everyone he knows about your amazing stuff'
Regards,
Adrian
